Push on the Medical Industry

Obama is stressing and taking a more forceful approach then any president ever has on the push on the Medical Industry in the states. He is planning to go to Chicago and explain to voters what will happen if the overhaul does not happen this year. He also has list of things that tells him why other reforms on medical issues have failed in the past. it looks like this time Obama is not taking a no for an answer, he will push and push the American people until they have agreed with his new health plan. Maybe finally the push on medical industry in the United States will be possible.

Highway Construction

Throughout the nation states have been receiving many papers indicating that they had many people who are now jobless. Obama went to immediate action. He has been trying to pass a project through congress that will give American more than 400,000 jobs. This project will be the most expensive infrastructure project that has been invested in since President Eisenhower. This project will cost one billion dollars. There are many people as usual who doubt Obama's plan is going to work. But he claims that people need jobs and this is something the government needs to do to help those Americans in need.

Visit to Ghana

The highly anticipated visit of Obama in Ghana is no doubt bringing a sense of pride and change for the better to the Ghanaian people. There are pictures being drawn of Obama and many residents are grateful for Obama's help. Their is one farmer glad that he is making money because of Obama, he claims that he used to make almost nothing at all until Obama came and now he makes about 20 dollars a day. No doubt Obama has made change for the better in the region. Their is also many people who find this topic controversial they believe that Ghana needs to learn to help itself and not depend on Obama. Obama non the less has helped a lot.

In the Czech Republic

Obama's visit to the Czech Republic was very important. It regarded the Nuclear base the Americans want to put in the Czech Republic, this base is called the Star Wars base. For month Czech citzens have been on the streets protesting on the American base that would soon be in the Czech Republic. A hunger strike for 3 months went on, petitions are being signed but the Czech government is refusing to listen. Obama claims that this base will help protect the Czech people. "Iran's nuclear weapons not only pose a threat to the United States but also to all to our allies" Obama said. Obama's plans to help here are obvious and wither people agree with his plan is a matter of questioning.

The London Summit

Obama was extremely busy when he went to the G20 meeting in London, formally known as the London Summit. Here Obama met the Prime Minister of the U.K Gordon Brown to discuss many pressing issues. They even had a press conference in London to tell the press exactly what is going on. Even the first lady was busy as she and the Prime Minister's wife mingled and went to visit a cancer center. The next day was followed with the G20 meeting, where the rest of the American officials appeared. It was a pressing conference that ended on April 1st.

Speech on Iraq

On February 27, in North Carolina, Obama announced that by the end of December 31 2011 all American troops would have been pulled out of Iraq. Starting from know Obama is planning to take out all of the troops except 35,000 to 50,000 that will stay till the end of 2011 to make sure Iraq stays stable. Obama proclaimed that Unites States has done a good job in Iraq. He said their mission was to take out Saddam Hussein from power and they succeeded. He also added that this has been a long war and that it is time to end it. This speech helped many families to become reassured that their loved ones will come back and that there is still hope in this brutal war, it’s ending.

Obama in Iraq

Obama made a surprising visit to Iraq as he flew in on April 7. He had arrived just after a car bomb in Baghdad had gone off. He had a brief meeting with the prime minister Nouri-al malki, on stabilizing Iraq. He then met with all the soldiers situated in Iraq in front of Saddam's former seat of power. He said, "Its time for the Iraqi's to take control of their own country”. Obama has strongly disapproved with this war when he was a candidate and will do something about it as a commander. By this visit he has reassured many.
